Bulk Rubbish Collection 2010

Date for collection is Sat 13th March 7.45-8.45am at the entry to the Sportsfield Car Park

The Saturday Recycling vehicles will only be able to accept the following: 

  *  Plastic bottles only 
  *  Glass jars and bottles 
  *  Food, drink cans and tins 
  *  Paper 
  *  Cardboard
  *  Textiles 
  *  Furniture 
  *  Fridge/Freezers 
  *  Televisions and computer screens 
  *  Whitegoods. Cookers, microwaves etc. 

They will no longer be able to accept items disposed of in the black or brown bins such as bagged waste, or garden waste.

Further examples of items not accepted:

  *  Business waste 
  *  Brick - concrete - rubble - bathroom suites - boilers 
  *  Car engines - batteries - tyres 
  *  Asbestos - garden fertiliser - pesticides 
  *  Clinical waste e.g. needles, syringes, blades 
  *  Toxic waste e.g. car batteries - motor oils- paints 
  *  No Liquids
