Crafts & Cream Teas at Little Pipers 22nd August 2010

Despite very unsettled weather both before and after the event we were very fortunate in having a warm sunny day and some 215 people plus children came through the gate and had an enjoyable afternoon.

 This compared with 373 people plus their children last year. The unsettled weather obviously kept people away. However at the end of it all we made a profit of £2,075.55 for Essex Air Ambulance. Our new Air Ambulance paid us a visit during the afternoon and gave us a flypast on its way back to base. Many thanks to all the people who helped and to those villagers who came and supported us and also to Richard and Anne Matthews for kindly allowing us to use the field next to us as a car park.
